Kent State University Rugby Looking for A Head Coach

The Kent State University Men's Rugby club is in search of a Head Coach to lead their team and help them continue the winning tradition they have established at the university.

Kent State University Rugby photoThey compete against teams like Xavier, Cedarville and Marshall. The team is anchored by a core group of dedicated players that practice regularly and are very competitive in all seasons of play. The team also travels to tournaments around and outside of the region. They were recently ranked just outside of the Top 10 in the nation, sitting at no. 12. Last year they ended their competitive season with a record of 4-2-1. The team is entering DI AA this year and needs the structure and strategy only a coach can provide in order to have as much success as possible.

Ideal candidates must have a mind for structure both on and off the field and be able to commit to at least two practices a week. This commitment will be for the Spring and Fall of 2015 to start out with. Coaches must be at least certified at level 200.

The team is populated by young, dedicated players with a strong forward pack. Those interested in the position should contact Club President Keegan Gillilan.
