There will be no shortage of talent from the Buckeye State on display in Las Vegas over the next few days. From Bowling Green State University, Notre Dame College and Miami competing in the collegiate ranks to members of the Eagles like Perry Baker taking the main stage, Ohio rugby is going to be well represented on the field.

There is one more name from Ohio rugby that will be put on display in Las Vegas during the weekend. Cleveland's own Dr. John Bergfeld, the founder of Cleveland's rugby scene, will be inducted into the USA Rugby Hall of Fame.

Bergfeld, who played and officiated in the city for a while, is being honored for his medical contributions to the sport. Bergfeld has ties to international-level teams and players of the past, having tended to some of the early Eagles as they competed in international matches.
