College Fair to Give High School Graduates the 'Ruggers Edge'

On November 8, Rugger's Edge, the Hudson Rugby Club and Rugby Ohio will be putting on a College Fair and Seminar. The event is open to any and all Ohio youth and high school players that are able to attend.

The day will consist of a moderated coaches' panel discussion, followed by a college fair where teams like Bowling Green State University, Ohio State University and Kent State University will be in attendance to give prospective players in their men's and women's teams.

Damien Fatongia will also be on hand for Rugger's Edge. Fatongia is a College Rugby Adviser with RE and will be on hand to help facilitate the transition into the college scene for players attending the event. He will be on hand to give interested parties information on what it takes to be successful in the admissions process, academic requirements to get into college and how to, potentially, secure a scholarship.

Everything kicks off at 4:00pm on Sunday, November 8. The event is free to anyone looking to attend. More events are planned for the future. For more information, visit the event site.

Parents, players and families interested in attending can RSVP here.
