The Ohio State Women's Rugby team will be hosting a one-day sevens camp for high school girls looking to receive specialized instruction from one of the state's best coaches. The camp will be on October 3  and go from 10:00am to 7:00pm in Columbus.

This camp will be directed by OSU Head Coach Joel Bonnaud. During his time with the OSU women, Bonnaud was able to help the team reach the Top Eight at Nationals in 2012 and 2013.

On top of being at the helm of OSU, Bonnaud has a number of rugby credits to his name. Bonnaud heads W1823 during the summer and routinely competes for a spot at nationals in sevens. He is also the Youth Director at Tiger Academy and a member of Stars Rugby Sevens coaching staff. Overall, Bonnaud has taken teams to compete in prestigious tournaments in Las Vegas and Calgary, among others.

During the event, players will be put through drills and activities designed to target the skills and tactics specific to the sevens game. After a day of training and instruction, along with a tour of the OSU campus, the day will end with the girls putting what they learned into action as they play each other in a sevens tournament.

Entry fee will be $20 per participant. Food and a camp t-shirt will be provided.
